The Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism is pleased to announce that the Illinois Supreme Court has appointed Heather Kroencke to the Commission on Professionalism. Kroencke is an attorney based in Lake in the Hills, Ill.

“I am delighted to welcome Heather to the Commission,” said Martin Sinclair, Chair of the Commission on Professionalism. “Heather is actively involved in serving her community, dedicated to the Commission’s mission, and has a demonstrated commitment to expanding access to justice. She is already familiar with the benefits of lawyer mentoring, having served as a mentee in the Commission’s mentoring program. I look forward to working with Heather to advance legal professionalism in Illinois.”

Kroencke is a partner at Zanck, Coen, Wright & Saladin, PC in Crystal Lake, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, estate administration, and real estate. Kroencke joined the firm as a law clerk, then as an associate attorney after graduation from law school.

Licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Illinois, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Kroencke graduated cum laude from Marquette University Law School and was a cum laude graduate from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Journalism.

She serves in several positions within McHenry County, including as a council member for the Northwestern Medicine Memorial Foundation Northwest Region Philanthropic Leadership Council, a graduate of Leadership Greater McHenry County, and a board member for Deerhaven.

Kroencke is a member of the McHenry County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Wisconsin State Bar Association.
