Heymarket’s new group messaging feature allows you to text with several contacts at the same time, in the same thread. After you send your initial group text, your recipients can view and reply to all messages in that thread. Everyone can see one another’s contact information and replies.

Contacts can also start group messages. If a contact includes a Heymarket inbox number in a group text, all participants will display as contacts in the Heymarket platform.

How is group messaging different from mass texting?

Group text messaging is not mass texting. Mass texting (also known as list broadcasting) is sending a text to a list of recipients who cannot see each others’ information or interact, like using BCC on an email. Group messaging allows all contacts in a conversation to read and reply to each other’s texts.
